Nicole Richie covered up for a shopping trip on Monday.
Despite warm temperatures in Los Angeles, the fashion designer donned a large tan shirt dress as she perused a kids clothing store.
The 39-year-old TV personality was barely recognizable in a bucket hat with face mask and sunglasses. Under her long shirt however, Nicole was ready for the sun in some thigh-skimming shorts.

According to Deadline, a synopsis for the show – which has been created by Emily Wilson, Sara Gilbert and Tom Werner, the team behind The Conners – reads: ‘Bucktown centers on Amy, who, after being dumped by her boyfriend and kicked out of her apartment on the eve of a big promotion, finds refuge at her mom’s house in the blue-collar neighborhood where she grew up.
‘Amy reconnects with her teenage niece living there due to her sister’s latest rehab stint and resolves to stay when she realizes that her mom and niece aren’t quite equipped to go it alone.’
Nicole recently insisted there is ‘no secret’ to the success of her marriage to Joel Madden – the father of her children Harlow, 13, and Sparrow, 11 – other than to continue to see one another as ‘individuals’.

The former Simple Life star believes motherhood has had more of an impact on her life than anything else.
She said: ‘The biggest change has been motherhood – but it’s also about age. Kids make you feel very specific on how you spend your time and where you put your energy.
‘Time with your kids is precious so it takes a lot for me to go to a social dinner. It’s not as easy as it was when I was 22.’
