Meghan Markle loves a monochrome look, and this weekend, as she cheered on her husband Prince Harry in his polo tournament, she opted for a white ensemble, wearing a white button down and white shorts, adding a leather belt. She held Prince Harry’s polo mallet as he stretched, and wore her hair up in a loose bun.
On Sunday, she opted for an all-denim look, pairing denim shorts with what appears to be a light blue denim button down, tying her hair back in a ponytail. Meghan’s shorts are the DÔEN Lane Short.
On both days, she completed her outfits with sandals, gold bracelets, and sunglasses. The outfits are a peak into the Duchess of Sussex’s laid-back, California style. These were Meghan’s second and third appearances on the grounds of the Santa Barbara Polo Club. Earlier this month, she was in the crowd to cheer on her husband wearing a white blazer.
Prince Harry has been competing in polo tournaments with his friend Nacho Figueras, on a team named “Los Padres” since the end of April.
“Prince Harry is an avid polo enthusiast,” Figueras told KCLU.”My polo team has a platform where we use the sport and the platform to raise awareness for charities. Harry’s going to be a part of this team. Him and I wanted this team to be very local and to pay tribute to Southern California because of him moving here and paying tribute to his new home.”
It’s a busy summer for the Sussexes. They are set to return to the UK for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations next month, bringing their children Archie and Lili.
“Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honoured to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children,” their spokesperson confirmed just a few days ago.
