Dennis Rodman, Bad Boy for Life

The incident underscores a central mission in Dennis’s life, even back then: to feel good. He didn’t try to sell the watches; that’s not why he took them. He simply handed them out to people he knew. “I was trying to please people…. I just wanted people to like me,” he once said. I think often about his mug shot from that night. In it, you can see all of the fear and loneliness sunken into his face. He’s in the middle of a late-stage growth spurt—after turning 18, he shot up from 5 feet 11 to 6 feet 7—but

PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- A new sign ordinance banning vulgar language is getting pushback in Punta Gorda. Police are now issuing citations for the new ordinance that bans obscene language appearing on signs, clothing and more. Reports show eight citations have been handed out, three of those included monetary fines. Outside of these spots (mile 68 and mile 156), you were on your own. Support crews take

What Do We Do With Bad Clothing Memories?

Photo-Illustration: by The Cut Now more than ever, people are experiencing fashion through their phones. In “Screen Time,” fashion writer Emilia Petrarca shares all the screenshots, double taps, and swipes she made this week. My phone keeps reminding me what happened “on this day” a year ago, or telling me: “You have a new memory.” Mostly, it’s resurfaced some surprisingly good outfits, and the memories I associate with them. Like that time I wore a tiger-print dress to go meet a friend for drinks in June and the sky broke open in one of those classic New York

Alfa Romeo “e-MiTo” Rendered, Italian EV Doesn’t Look Half Bad

Built from 2008 to 2018 in Turin and named after Milan and Turin, the MiTo is one of the cutest hatchbacks of the previous decade. Not only is it a right-sized car for congested cities, but the elegant design and desirable badge made it a unique proposition in the segment. Alfa Romeo, however, pulled the plug on the MiTo because the subcompact segment was a different playground in 2018 as opposed to 2008. Worse still, European buyers were – and still are – more interested in crossovers and big SUVs. The Italian manufacturer never offered hybrid assistance or an electric
