    School district responds to controversial dress code violations at Bartram Trail High

    ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The St. Johns County School District on Tuesday answered questions about controversial dress code violations at Bartram Trail High School. News4Jax spoke with Paul Abbatinozzi, senior director for school services for school district, after some students at Bartram Trail said they were told to unzip their clothing in front of staff members to check if they were violating the dress code, prompting a protest and an online petition. “Our goal for our student code of conduct dress code isn’t to treat any group unfairly.     LIVSN to release trail pants this fall

    Fayetteville-based outdoor apparel retailer LIVSN Designs will launch this fall pants made mostly of recycled materials after receiving media attention from two magazines on its existing pants. The second version of its Flex Canvas Pants was featured in the Best Climbing Gear of 2020 section of Outside magazine’s Summer Buyer’s Guide and dubbed Gear Junkie’s Favorite Pants of 2020. Last summer, LIVSN raised $106,364 in a crowdsourced Kickstarter campaign with 801 backers and exceeded its goal by more than 10 times. Andrew Gibbs-Dabney, the founder of LIVSN Designs, said about 30{a38ddb2ded6b05e28c8ae73a8db0e271c21f7193684bd9e4e28acae292f81d99} of the backers were repeat customers who had purchased
